PM Modi received phone call from PM of Greece

Today, Prime Minister Modi received a phone call from Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Mitsotakis shared his warm wishes on Prime Minister Modi’s birthday.  Prime Minister Mr. Modi also expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the gesture.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis and Prime Minister Modi, both appreciated developments in bilateral relations across sectors like, trade, investment, defence, technology, shipping, security, connectivity and people-to-people ties. Both the leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the Indo-Greece Strategic Partnership.

PM Mitsotakis conveyed Greece’s support for the early conclusion of a mutually beneficial India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA). He also expressed support for the success of the 2026 AI Impact Summit, going to be hosted by India. They also exchanged their views on various regional and global issues of mutual interest. The leaders agreed to remain in touch.
