As a part of the Governments approach to normalize relations with China, on a revised Air Service Agreement, both the countries agreed to resume direct air services. The service will connect designated points in India and China. The service is expected to resume by late October 2025. Civil aviation authorities of both India and China are now engaged in discussion on different commercial and operational criteria. The approach is going to facilitate people-to-people contact and will normalize bilateral exchange.
