Chinese goods. This will make total tariff on Chinese goods to 130%. It will
come into effect from 1st November, 2025.
According to President
Trump, it is a strong response towards China’s ‘extraordinary aggressive
position on trade.’
On Thursday, China
expanded its rare earth export control, adding five new elements. It also
imposed extra scrutiny for semiconductor users.
