PM Modi Congratulated President Trump on Gaza Peace Plan

Yesterday, PM Modi congratulated US President Trump on successful progress of Gaza Peace Plan.

PM Modi and President Trump also discussed issues related with Indo-US trade deal.

Currently, Israel-Hamas negotiation is going on in Egypt, on the basis of US President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza Peace Plan.

In August 2025, Trump Administration imposed 50% tariff on Indian goods. This tensed overall Indo-US relations and trade talks. Later, trade talks resumed.

In the last month, President Trump wished PM Modi on his birthday and discussed several bilateral issues.

Last week, PM Modi praised President Trumps Peace initiative in Gaza and reaffirmed India’s support for all initiatives that could bring lasting and just peace in the region.

MOS (PM) is going to visit Papua New Guinea
